TUSCALOOSA, AL - A woman suffered fatal injuries in a collision involving four vehicles on I-59 Saturday night.
According to WBRC, the collision took place at about 8:30 p.m. near the 89 mile marker, about 11 miles northeast of downtown Tuscaloosa.
Police say a 29-year-old woman rear-ended a truck. Two additional vehicles then became involved in the pileup.
The woman suffered fatal injuries in the crash. It is unclear at this time if anyone else was hurt.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
