NORTHPORT, AL – A pedestrian was left with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle last weekend, the Tuscaloosa Thread reports.
The man was standing in front of a Wendy's at McFarland Boulevard and Lurleen Wallace Boulevard at about 6:15 p.m. Sunday when a vehicle ran into him.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was treated by the Fire Rescue Department of Northport and Northstar ambulance services. There has not yet been an update on his condition.
All westbound lanes of McFarland Boulevard were shut down as cleanup crews worked to clear the site of debris.
The Northport Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
