News: Teen Driver Killed After Single-Car Wreck in Hale Co.

AKRON, AL - A 16-year-old driver was fatally injured when his car crashed on the side of the road on Sunday, according to WBRC 6.
The teenaged driver, a 16-year-old from Akron, was traveling on Hale County 21 at about 11:15 p.m. Sunday when his vehicle departed the road and crashed into a gutter.
The teen died at the scene.
It is unknown what caused him to lose control of the vehicle. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is currently investigating the circumstances of the accident.
