News: 4-vehicle crash on I-59 leaves 2 injured

TRUSSVILLE, AL – Two people were hurt after an accident involving several vehicles on I-59 today, The Trussville Tribune reports.

A Penske box truck swerved over the center line of I-59 for unknown reasons and collided with an 18-wheeler truck traveling in the opposite direction. Two additional vehicles then became involved in the wreck.

Trussville police report that two people were injured and taken to a nearby hospital for their injuries. Their identities are unclear at this time.

I-59 was closed down in both directions for nearly an hour after the accident.
