News: Car accident on Alabama 69 leaves 1 dead
CULLMAN COUNTY, AL – A man was killed following a collision on Alabama 69 yesterday, AL.com reports.
At about 12:45 a.m., the driver of a 1997 Mazda Miata swerved off of the highway for unknown reasons and crashed. His vehicle then hit a nearby pole and overturned.
The driver, an unidentified man from Baileyton, died at the scene. He was not using seatbelts at the time of the crash, according to Alabama State Troopers.
It is unclear what caused the vehicle to crash. The Alabama State Troopers are looking into the accident.
