News: Car catches fire following wreck on I-20 in Birmingham
BIRMINGHAM, AL – A collision that resulted in a vehicle fire shut down I-20 near downtown Birmingham today, ALGO Birmingham reports.
Crash involving Vehicle Fire cleared on I-20/59 EB @ MP 125.8 at Exit 126A US31/Elton B Stephens Expy in Jefferson County.

Emergency responders were called to a vehicle fire after an accident on the eastbound lanes of I-20 near US-31.
Crews were able to clear the crash site of debris by about 5:12 p.m. today.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the wreck. Our team will update this blog with any further information as it is released.
