News: Car wreck on US-280 kills one, injures three

CHILDERSBURG, AL – At least one person was killed and three others were injured when two cars collided on US-280 near Childersburg on Monday night, CBS 42 reports.

At 10 p.m., the driver of a 2021 Toyota Camry crashed head-on into a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. The passenger of the Hyundai was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene. The Hyundai’s driver, along with the Toyota driver and passenger, were all hospitalized as a result of the crash.

This case is being investigated by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
