CHILTON COUNTY, AL – A man employed with the ALDOT agency was struck and killed in a construction zone this morning, according to WSFA 12.

At about 9:15 a.m. this morning, a maintenance technician for an ALDOT construction crew was holding up a traffic sign in a work zone when he was hit by a Chevrolet Traverse. He was then taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The accident occurred on Alabama 191 by mile marker 11.
