News: Infant passenger fatally injured in Montgomery crash

MONTGOMERY, AL – One child was killed and three adults were injured after a collision involving an ambulance in Montgomery yesterday, WSFA 12 reports.

At about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, the driver of a 2008 Nissan Altima crashed into an ambulance within the 1100 block of Federal Drive.

A four-month-old passenger of the Nissan was transported to a nearby hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.

The Nissan driver and the ambulance passengers suffered unknown injuries in the accident.

The Montgomery Police Department is working to establish an official cause of the crash at this time.
