News: Man killed in pickup truck crash in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A 62-year-old Pinson man died Monday night in a single-vehicle accident after losing control of his pickup truck in Morris, according to AL.com.

The incident occurred in the 8400 block of Stouts Road at around 8:40 p.m.

The man was at the wheel of a Dodge pickup truck heading southbound on Stouts Road when he suddenly lost control of his vehicle, causing it to crash into a ravine.

The man died at the scene at 9:10 p.m.

An investigation by Morris police remains underway.
