News: Motorcyclist killed in crash following unrelated Trussville police chase

CENTER POINT, AL – A motorcyclist being pursued by Trussville police was killed in an unrelated collision this morning, AL.com reports.

The unidentified male motorcyclist crashed into another vehicle on Center Point Parkway. at 11:30 a.m. The motorcyclist was ejected from his vehicle and died at the scene of the crash.

The man was pursued by Trussville Police minutes prior to the crash but the chase ended abruptly as they lost track of him. The authorities found both a weapon and narcotics in the motorcyclist’s possession at the scene of the crash.

No one else was injured as a result of the accident. The Alabama State Troopers and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating the case.
