News: Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle on US-78

LINCOLN, AL – A woman died yesterday after she was hit by a car traveling on US-78 in Lincoln, according to CBS 42 News.

At around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, a woman walking on US-78 was hit by a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident took place at the 47000 block of the highway.

The name of the driver has not yet been released to the public as the Lincoln Police Department continues to investigate.
