ALBERTVILLE, AL – One woman was killed and two others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash near Albertville, The Gadsden Times reports.

Police say the woman driving a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer swerved over the median of Alabama Highway 75 near Bethany Road and crashed into a 2012 Nissan Maxima.

Two occupants of the Nissan, a woman and a child, were transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet was flown by helicopter to a hospital, where she died a short time later.
