News: Woman killed in car accident on I-59

ASHVILLE, AL – A woman was fatally struck by another car near Ashville yesterday morning, CBS42 reports.

The driver of a 2004 Ford Explorer was hit by a 2013 Infinity QX56 after she was left stranded on I-59 due to a previous crash. The Ford driver was pronounced dead by authorities at the site of the accident.

This case is currently being investigated by Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
