News: Wreck in Coffee County leaves 2 dead

COFFEE COUNTY, AL – A passenger and a pedestrian were killed in a collision on U.S. 231 this past Sunday, Alabama News reports.

Troopers believe the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was standing on the highway about eight miles south of Brundidge at about 9 p.m. that night. The pedestrian died at the scene, as did a passenger in the vehicle.

This case is being investigated by the Alabama State Police.
