News: Teenager dies after car wreck near Roanoke

RANDOLPH COUNTY, AL – A teenage driver died after a single-vehicle accident on Randolph County 26 road yesterday, WBRC 6 reports.

At around 4:30 p.m., the 17-year-old male driver was traveling on Randolph County 26 west of Roanoke.  Police say he veered off the road for unknown reasons and crashed into a tree. He ultimately died from his injuries at the scene.

No additional details about the wreck are available, as the Highway Patrol Divison of Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is still investigating this case.
